Marc and Sandra installed the Mighty Mule 502 package they got from GateCrafters.com and felt it turned out well so they would send a couple of photos. We definitely agree. This is a steel tube fence that goes around the perimeter of their property in Maricopa, Arizona. The control box and solar panel are mounted on a wooden pole, as is the keypad in the front. The wooden pole is a smart move as it is not a conductor of electricity, this does not guarantee no lightning strikes, but it decreases the chance. A plum solid installation like this should last them for years.
